These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Mile Zero (“we,” “our,” “us”). By engaging our services, you (“Client,” “you”) agree to these Terms.
1. What even is this?
1.1. We are a licenced Internat Radio station operating in the United Kingdom, providing a CHR/Top 40 formatted stream at the trucking, flight, farming, space, and simulation community alike.
1.2. We broadcast music, shows, and related content via the website you are on now, and through third-party listening platforms and apps. The specific features available to you may vary slightly depending on which platform you use to listen.
2. Access and Availability
2.2. Listening to Mile Zero is free of charge. We do not, and will never charge listeners for access to the stream.
2.2. Wherever you listen via a third-party app or platform (for example, TuneIn), that platform may run it's own subscriptions and may insert their own advertising into your listening experience. Amy such subscriptions, ads or in-app purchases are between you and that third party. Mile Zero does not control, and is not responsible for the terms, pricing or advertisement content of the third party apps.
2.3. We aim to keep our stream available as close to 24/7 as reasonably possible, however that relies on many factors such as hosting, licencing, internet connectivity, and third-party platforms otuside of our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
3. Acceptable Usage.
3.1. When interacting with Mile Zero, including song requests, shout-outs, on-air messages, chat, or social media comments, you agree to submit anything that is not illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise innapropiate for a general audience.
3.2. We reserve the right to ignore, edit or remove any submission, and to restrict access for any listener who has breached this clause.
4. Listener-Submitted Content
4.1. If you send us a request, message, shout-out, or other content for possible use on air or on our website/social channels, you grant Mile Zero the right to read out, publish, or otherwise use that content in connection with our broadcasts and promotion.
4.2. You confirm that anything you submit is your own and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
5. Music Licencing
5.1. Mile Zero broadacsts under the appropiate licences required for internet radio in the United Kingdom, including the relevant collection societies.
5.2. These licences cover our right to play the music we broadcast; they do not grant you, the listener, any right to record, redistribute, or rebroadcast our stream or its contents.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. All station branding, jingles and artwork, are original content produced by Mile Zero, and remains property of Mile Zero.
6.2. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or rebroadcast our stream, recordings, or our branded content without expicit permission.
7. Liability
7.1. Mile Zero is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to access our stream or website. This includes losses connected to interruptions, downtime, or content from third-party platforms.
7.1. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.
8. Changes to our Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our service, platforms, or legal requirements. Continued use of Mile Zero after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will first be addressed through direct discussion, with mediation preferred before formal legal action.
